“Naiveties and Nursery Rhymes” was the name for an album that my band ‘The Dry Risers’ neverĀ got round to making. We had a few songs that were quite childish in nature or quite naive in their aspirations and we thought we would collect them together on one album.

I still think it’s a good idea to maintain a child-like side: a place for optimism, laughter and hope. Even though the Dry Riser’s album project was ultimately doomed and our children’s classic “Woolly Mammoth” never made it onto CD or vinyl, I hope that my poems still draw a smile and foster a hope for the future.
